Heard learned counsel, Mr. Apte for the appellant, who is seeking leave to appeal challenging the dismissal of the complaint filed by the present appellant and acquitted respondent no.1 of the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. During the pendency of this appeal, the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement. It is submitted that respondent no.1 has paid the cheque amount to the appellant. The parties are present before the Court. Since, the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, the appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
