For the reasons stated in the judgment separately, the following order is passed :

O R D E R

(i) The appeal is partly allowed.

(ii) The conviction of the appellant for the ofence punishable under Section 376 (2)(i)(f) of Indian Penal Code and under Section 4 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Ofences Act, 2012 is hereby quashed and set aside.

(iii) The appellant is convicted for the ofence punishable under Sections 7 and 8 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Ofences Act, 2012 and sentenced to the period already undergone. (iv) The sentence of fne is maintained.

(v) The appellant be set at liberty forthwith, if not required in any other ofence.
