The above Civil Application has been filed by the Applicants original Petitioners for a directions against the Respondent Nos.2 to 6 that they be directed to pay the arrests of rent and permitted increases in the sum of Rs.2329/- per month and also claiming an amount of Rs.20,166/- per month which is claimed as and by way of further permitted increases. The Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Applicants Mr. Lulia states that in so far as Rs.20,166/- is concerned, the Applicants are not pressing the said relief. The Learned Counsel further states that in so far as arrears of rent are concerned, the Respondent Nos.2 to 6 have paid the arrears of rent to the Applicants up to June 2017. However, according to the Learned Counsel for the Applicant increases for the period between 1-9-2016 up to mmj

caw-2892-16-(11) date would be communicated to the Respondent Nos.2 to 6. The Learned Counsel for the Respondent on such communication would consider the payment of the said increases i.e. the enhanced amount. Needless to state that the payment made or that would be made, would be without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties. Since the Writ Petition is of the year 2006, the above Writ Petition to be placed for final hearing after Diwali Vacation of the present year in the category of matters belonging to Senior Citizens.
