Mr. Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner, restricts this petition to the relief of transfer of investigation. 2.
The petitioner, by filing this petition, is seeking direction to transfer the investigation of FIR No.324 of 2016 from Kandivali Police Station to State CID. The main allegation in the petition is that though the FIR is registered on 31st August, 2016, under Sections 354, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the investigation has not progressed.

Mrs. Deshmukh, learned APP, having taken instructions from Mr.Bipin Balkrishna Chavan, PI, Kandivali Police Station, Mumbai, who is present before the Court, denies the allegation of the petitioner and states that the investigation into the said FIR is almost complete and a charge-sheet would be filed within a period of one week from today before the concerned magistrate. The statement is accepted. 4.
