By consent, heard finally.

The applicant has received a summons issued by EOW, CID Crime, Gujarat State requiring him to appear before the Detective Police Inspector of the EOW, CID Crime Branch, Ahmedabad. The applicant apprehends arrest at the hands of the police in connection with the case that has been registered with EOW, CID, Crime Branch. He intends to approach the proper Court having territorial jurisdiction, for bail or anticipatory bail. By the present application, he prays for anticipatory bail, temporarily, and for a short period so as to enable him to approach to appropriate Court having territorial jurisdiction, for anticipatory bail.

The sister of the applicant has been protected by this Court by an order dated 08/10/2015 passed in Anticipatory Bail Application No.1487 of 2015 (Coram : Smt.Revati Mohite-Dere J.) in similar circumstances. Considering this, I am inclined to allow the application.

In the event of his arrest by the Economic Offences Wing, CID Crime, Ahmedabad, Gujarat State, or at their instance, in the case in connection with which a summons has been received by him from the EOW, CID Crime Branch, Ahmedabad, the applicant be released on bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/-, with one surety in like amount on the condition that he shall either appear before the EOW, CID Crime Branch, Ahmedabad, Gujarat State within a period of two weeks from today and/or approach the appropriate Court having territorial jurisdiction, for anticipatory bail/bail.

This order shall remain in force only for a period of two weeks from today and thereafter, shall terminate automatically.

Application is disposed of.
