DATED : 13th JULY, 2022 P.C:- Considering the conspectus of the accusation, the applicant was admitted to protection. The case of the applicant is that he is in receipt of a lawful dues in the coal business transaction. Though the prosecution allege that the applicant has illegally benefited out of the siphoned funds, some documents were placed on record by the applicant in respect of the original stock register, record of purchase of coal stock along with the documents like invoices, lorry receipts etc.

The applicant was directed to attend the police station along with the said documents and he was admitted to protection. by order dated 16/12/2021.

2/2 9 ABA2946-21.doc The Investigating Officer has filed his affidavit in terms of the order dated 1/2/2022 which has been countered by additional affidavit filed by the applicant.

The learned APP, on instructions of the Investigating Officer who is present in the Court, state that on completion of investigation, charge-sheet has been filed and the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not warranted. In the wake of the aforesaid application, the order dated 16/12/2021 is made absolute.

Application is disposed off.
