After arguing for some time, when the Court was not inclined to enlarge the applicant on bail, learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave to withdraw this application. He, however, requests that having regard to the fact that the applicant is a senior citizen and is in custody since 2019, the trial of the applicant be expedited.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, having regard to the age of the applicant as well as the age of the victim girl, which is 11 years and also having regard to the fact that charge has been framed in the said case, the trial of the applicant is expedited.
