The petitioner and others preferred an appeal under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 for challenging mutation entries which according to the case of the petitioner are erroneous. The said appeal has been dismissed by the Sub Divisional Officer, Kalyan. Further remedies by way of appeal and Revision application are available under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. 2.

We, therefore, decline to entertain this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and the same is disposed of by keeping remedies of the petitioner open. If the petitioners adopt a remedy under the statute, the concerned authorities are bound to note that the present petition was filed on 4th November, 2016 which remained pending till today.
