The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is not pressing prayer (a) of the petition as the petitioner desires to resort to appropriate alternate remedy in accordance with law.

In respect of prayer (b) of the petition, the learned

2/2 17-wp-12315-17.doc AGP submits that in the year 1995, request for allotment of an agricultural land was rejected by the State Government. It is further submitted that the petitioner has approached this court after lapse of more than 23 years.

In view of the delay in approaching this court in respect of issue concerning allotment of an agricultural land, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. However, in any other scheme of the State Government, the petitioner is entitled to apply, the petitioner may file appropriate representation to that effect.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly.
