Having seen nature of the reliefs claimed in the writ petition, we are of the opinion that the Petitioner ought to have filed criminal public interest litigation [PIL]. The Petitioner inperson accordingly sought permission to convert this civil PIL into criminal PIL. Leave as sought for is granted. The Petitioner is permitted to convert this civil PIL into criminal PIL. Necessary amendments be carried out within four weeks from today. Once, amendments are carried out, Registry to place the matter before the appropriate bench.
