The learned counsel for the applicant fairly submits that in the present case, trial has commenced and the Court has recorded the substantive evidence of one witness. It is also submitted that the applicant is in custody since 21.2.2014. In view of this, the learned Special Judge seized with Special Case No.154 of 2014 shall make an endeavour to expedite the trial and not grant unwarranted adjournments to the prosecution. The learned Special Judge shall also ensure that the applicant who is in custody is produced before the Court on each and every date and complete the recording of evidence as far as possible within nine months from today.
