On 29th January 2024, the matter was argued by learned Advocate, Ms. Anjali Patil appearing for the Applicant. After arguing the matter for some time, on instructions, she submitted that she will withdraw the main Bail Application and only the Interim Application fled in this Bail Application seeking temporary bail be considered seeking prayer allowing the Applicant to attend the wedding ceremony of his sister, which is scheduled to be held on 18th February 2024. At that time only it was clarifed that the Applicant will be allowed to attend the said wedding, with a Police escort. Accordingly, the matter is kept 1/3
today for the learned APP to take instructions regarding the Police escort.

Ms. Kaushik, learned APP states that one Assistant Police Inspector or an Offcer of a higher rank, one Police Head Constable and two Police Constables will be required for escorting, as the Applicant is travelling to attend the wedding ceremony at Ramganj, District-Pratapgad, Uttar Pradesh and therefore, the Police escort charges will be Rs.40,032/- per day. 3.
However, today, Mr. Rajput, learned Advocate for the Applicant appears and states that in view of such heavy Police escort charges, he has instructions to withdraw even the Interim Application.

However, he submits that the trial be expedited as the F.I.R. has been lodged on 17th August 2022, the Applicant was apprehended on 18th August 2022 and the Charge-sheet has been fled on 13th October 2022. He submits that till date, no Charge has been framed.

Accordingly, the learned Trial Court is requested to expeditiously conclude the trial.

The Applicant is granted liberty to prefer a fresh Bail Application after one year if there is no substantial progress in the trial.

Accordingly, the Bail Application and the Interim Application therein are allowed to be withdrawn and disposed of, subject to above.
