Admittedly, the proceedings between the parties and subject matter of Writ Petition No. 6699 of 2013 which came to be disposed of by this Court by an order dated 4 October, 2013, have come to an end in the Divisional Joint Registrar passing a final order on the petitioner's application (Revision Application No. 390 of 2012) on 25 February, 2014. However, an amount of Rs.18,50,000/- was directed to be deposited in this Court by an interim order dated 26 July, 2013 passed by this Court in the said Writ Petition. The said amount was deposited on 14 August, 2013 and has remained deposited in this Court. The application today is 1/2

As the proceedings between the parties have already come to an end, there shall not be any impediment, if the prayers as made in the application are granted. The Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a), which reads thus: "a) That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to permit the applicants to withdraw an amount of Rs.18,50,000/- along with accumulated interest on it deposited in the above Writ Petition on 14/8/2013 vide receipt bearing no. 008080."
