The Petitioner is seeking a direction to the police authorities to register a crime in terms of the order already made by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 21st Court, Bandra. 2.
Mrs. Deshmukh, learned APP for the State having taken instructions from the officer concerned, states that pursuant to the order made by the Magistrate under section 156(3) of the the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, MECR No.4 of 2014 is already registered by Vakola Police Station and investigation is going on. She further submitted that report could not be filed before the Magistrate as the settlement talks were going on between the parties. Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner stoutly disputed the statement made by the learned APP about settlement talks.

Be that as it may, Mrs. Deshmukh, learned APP for the State upon instructions submitted that investigation in the said crime would be completed and appropriate report would be filed before the concerned Magistrate within one month from today. Statement is accepted as an undertaking to this Court. 4.
In view of the statement made by the learned APP, nothing survives for consideration in the petition and it is therefore disposed of.
