At the outset, learned Counsel for the applicant does not press this application on merits. He, however, requests that the trial of the applicant be expedited, since the applicant is languishing in jail since January, 2019.

Learned APP, on instructions, states that the prosecution intends to examine about 5 to 7 witnesses and has no objection if the trial is expedited.

In view of the aforesaid, the application is disposed of as not pressed. However, the trial of the applicant is expedited. The Trial Court to decide the case as expeditiously as possible and preferrably within twelve months from the date of receipt of this order. The aforesaid order to be placed before the learned Judge seized of the said case. 4.
