...Respondents

Mr. Ketan Tirodkar, Petitioner in-person present. Mr. Deepak Thakare, PP, a/w Mrs. P. P. Shinde, APP for the Respondent/State.

CORAM:

B. R. GAVAI & N. J. JAMADAR, JJ DATED:

15th January, 2019 PC:- 1.

The Petitioner in-person has filed the present PIL for direction to the Respondent to appoint an SIT in connection with one murder case. The learned Registrar (Judicial) has given an opinion that no public interest is involved in the present petition and, as such, should not be treated as the public interest litigation. Upon perusal of the averments in the petition, we find no reason to interfere with the opinion given by the learned Registrar (Judicial).

2.

The Public Interest Litigation is, therefore, rejected. [N. J. JAMADAR, J.] [B. R. GAVAI, J.] 1/1
