Heard Ms. Patil, appointed Counsel for the Petitioner. The grievance is raised against rejection Order, whereby the Application for grant of furlough leave was rejected. The said application was submitted to the Authority in the month of April, 2021 and the rejection Order was passed on 12 November 2021. It seems that a copy of the the writ petition was received by the Office of Public Prosecutor and instructions were sought for. Learned APP, Mr. Yagnik, made available a copy of the communication addressed to the Office of the Public Prosecutor dated 21 April 2022. The same is taken on record and marked ' X'

for identification.

Perusal of the communication shows that recently vide Order dated 9 February 2022, the Petitioner is released by grant of emergency parole leave. In view of the release of the Petitioner, the grievance raised in the Petition no more survive. The Petition is disposed of. 1/2
