Appellant and Respondent No.1 both are present. Respondent No.1 is not represented by an Advocate. On 19th December, 2023, a bailable warrant was issued against him. On 5th January, 2024, he appeared and both the parties expressed desire to settle the dispute.

This is an Appeal against the judgment of acquittal for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 ["NI Act"].
