The petition assails the order passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Mumbai Division dated 15th September 2017, whereby the interim relief was rejected and the Deputy Registrar was directed to forthwith initiate the election process of the Managing Committee of the Co-operative Society as per the provisions of Maharashtra Co-operative Societies (Election to Committee), Rules, 2014. It seems that the election process is over and thus, the petitioner No.1 has lost interest in prosecuting this petition.
