In the instant case the charge sheet has been filed on 29/10/2014. Hence it is almost 3 1⁄2 years since the charge sheet has been filed. We are informed that the charges have not been framed till date. In the facts as aforestated it is not possible for us to consider the relief of quashing of the charge sheet at this point of time. However, considering the fact that the charge sheet has been filed as long back as in the year 2014 we deem it appropriate to direct the concerned learned Metropolitan Magistrate to try and decide the case being PW/1640/2014 expeditiously and latest by 31/01/2019. With the aforesaid directions the above Writ Petition is disposed of. All concerned parties to act upon an ordinary copy of the instant order duly authenticated by the Court Associates/Sheristedar.
