The applicant is arrested on 4th June, 2019 in connection with C.R. No. 187 of 2019 registered with Narayangaon Police Station, Dist. Pune for offences punishable under Section 370 of Indian Penal Code ("IPC" for short) and Section 3, 4, 5 & 9 of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act ("PITA" for short).

The case of the prosecution is that, on 4th June 2019 it was noticed that the prostitution activity is carried on at Mangalmurti lodge. The applicant is owner of the lodge. He was present lodge. 3.

During the course of investigation statement of victim was recorded. The victim had stated that she was taken to the lodge and that the owner was charging money towards rent for utilizing the

Sajakali Jamadar 15-BA-2614-19.doc premises. She is major. It is not alleged that victim was exploited or forced to indulge in prostitution The applicant is in custody since 4th June 2019. The charge sheet is filed. Undisputedly, there are no other criminal antecedents against the applicant. Hence, case for grant of bail is made out.

O R D E R

i) Bail Application No. 2614 of 2019 is allowed; ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with C.R. No. 187 of 2019 registered with Narayangaon Police Station, Dist. Pune on his furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.

25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount;

iii) The applicant shall report concerned police station once in a month on every first Saturday between 10.00 am. to 12.00 noon till further order.

iv) Bail Application stands disposed of accordingly. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.)
