By this civil application, the petitioner-applicant seeks restoration of the petition which came to be dismissed by the self operative order dated 2nd August, 2017, a copy of which is at Exhibit-A. The order reveals that the petitioner was directed to supply copies of the writ petition within a period of two weeks from today i.e. before 16th August, 2017. However, it appears that the copies were not so supplied as a result the petition stood dismissed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Perused the civil application. It appears that the petition has been admitted vide order dated 1/2
57.a3036.12 30th September, 2016. By the reasons recorded in the civil application, I am of the view that the application is liable to be allowed. In the circumstances I pass the following order :
(a) Civil application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) and (b). (b) Ad-interim order dated 6th September, 2017 shall also stand restored. (c) The petition shall stand restored to file and the petitioner's Advocate shall furnish the copies of the petition within a period of one week from the date of uploading of this order. If the copies are not furnished, this order shall stand vacated.
(c) Civil application is disposed of in aforesaid terms. (A.K. MENON,J.) 2/2
