Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State. This application is filed for quashing the criminal proceedings bearing C.C. No.4576/PW/2008 pending in the Court of the Metropolitan Magistrate, 17th Court, Borivali, Mumbai on the basis of F.I.R. No.253/2001 registered with Kandivli East police station (now Samtanagar police station) for offences punishable under sections 341, 344 and 114 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the applicant states that the dispute between the parties is settled and said case is disposed of by compounding the offence. In support of her submission, she 1/2
