By this application, the applicant, who is son of deceased appellant is praying for setting aside abatement and permitting the applicant to prosecute the appeal filed by his deceased father challenging conviction for the offence punishable under Sections 7 and 13(1)(d) read with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
For the stated reason, delay in filing the application for leave is condoned, abatement is set aside and leave is granted to the applicant, who is son of the deceased appellant, to continue the appeal filed by his deceased father.
