Mr. Kandarkar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is working as a Lecturer with respondent no.4-college. The age of retirement on superannuation of a Lecturer is 60 years. The learned counsel refers to the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court dated 29 October, 2021 in Writ Petition No.3125 of 2020. 2.

It is not disputed by the learned counsel for the respondent nos.4 and 5 that the present petitioner is similarly situated as the petitioner in Writ Petition No.3617 of 2020 with connected writ petition decided on 29 October, 2021. Under the said judgment, this Court held that the age of retirement of those petitioners would be 60 years and not 58 years.

It is submitted that the said judgment is confirmed by the Apex Court.

In view of that, the age of retirement of the petitioner shall be deemed to be 60 years. The parties shall act accordingly. All the consequential benefits to follow.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
