The Applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 6 of 2018 for an offence punishable under Sections 307, 323 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned Counsel for Applicant submits that as the investigation in the matter is completed, further detention of the Applicant is not warranted. According to him, there are no criminal antecedents against the Applicant.

Perusal of the contents in the complaint which is lodged by the victim and the injury certificate in categorical terms attributes the specific role to the Applicant. The Applicant has assaulted the victim resulting into causing various grievous injuries. There is strong material available against the Applicant.

That being so, no case for grant of bail is made out. Hence, the Criminal Bail Application stands rejected. (NITIN W. SAMBRE, J.)
