CORAM: BHARATI DANGRE, J.
DATED : 12th OCTOBER, 2022 P.C:- By the present application, the time to furnish solvent surety as one of the condition of release of the applicant on bail, is prayed for.
The applicant was released on provisional cash bail of Rs.10 lakhs for a period of two weeks, but subsequently, since the order was vacated, by order dated 28/7/2022 passed in Criminal Writ Petition No.2133/2022, the said order was restored subject to the same conditions being imposed and the applicant was granted six weeks time to furnish surety.

2/2 501 APPLN 316-22.doc Time for furnishing surety was extended on two further occasions i.e. on 18/8/2022 and 15/9/2022. Heard Mr.Ponda, Senior Advocate, for the applicant and Mr.Venegavkar for the respondent no.1 On hearing the learned senior counsel and on perusal of the application, I deem it in the fitness of things to grant further extension of six weeks though the application seek extension of time for furnishing the solvent sureties by 10 weeks. Considering the earlier extensions and steps that are required to be taken for obtaining the solvent surety certificates of the sureties which is in the amount of Rs.10 lakhs, I deem it appropriate to extend the time by way of last opportunity by six weeks from today.
