The Applicant, apprehending his arrest, in connection with the investigation of Crime No. 416 of 2021 registered with Kavthemahankal Police Station, Dist. Sangli under Section 353, 504, 506 of IPC, is seeking anticipatory bail. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The aforesaid crime is registered on the basis of the complaint dated 16.11.2021 lodged by Anandrao Namdeo Bhosale, who is a clerk working in Grampanchayat Tisangi, Taluka Kavthemahankal, District Sangli.

The incident in question had happened on 16.11.2021 at about 5.15 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. According to the informant, the Applicant had created ruckus in the office of the grampanchayat and had caught hold of collar of the informant and pushed him, thereby obstructing him in performance of the official duty. 5.

The record discloses that on 15.12.2021, interim protection was granted to the Applicant which is in force till today. 6.

Considering the nature of the allegations, I do not find that the custodial interrogation is necessary.

In such circumstances, the criminal application is disposed of in terms of order dated 15.12.2021 subject to the condition that the Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence or witnesses and shall not associates himself with any similar offence.

The criminal application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
