Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the police have registered the F.I.R. bearing C.R. No.27/2015 for offence punishable under section 302, 201 and 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code against the concerned persons. Substantive prayer of the petitioner is met. Counsel for the petitioner submitted the police have deliberately delayed registering F.I.R. and prayed that appropriate inquiry be initiated. The F.I.R. is registered by 1/2
14) wp4184-14 Shrivardhan police station, Raigad. The A.C.P. would look into the matter and fix responsibility, if it is found that the officer has deliberately delayed the investigation and did not conduct investigation properly and was negligent in performance of duty. 3.
As the F.I.R. is registered, we direct the investigating officer to complete the investigation within three months. 4.
The petition is accordingly disposed of.
