We are informed that the issue raised in this petition has now been settled by the Apex Court on 31.3.2014 and on the basis of said judgment, the Parliament has amended the High Court Judges Condition of Service Act. It is submitted that in view of the decision of the Apex Court and the amendment to the said Act, petition does not survive any longer. Writ petition, is therefore, disposed of since it has become infructuous.
