The challenge is to an order of 25th July 2016 fixing compensation at Rs.1,33,105/- per month. The order was by the Appellate Bench of the Small Causes Court. The premises are in Dhobi Talao, actually quite close to that Court, opposite Metro Cinema. There is an evidence that the original tenant ran a hotel on several floors of the building. He appointed a conductor to run this business. The Petitioner is claimed to be heirs of the original tenant. Part of the property is used as an office. The Petitioner resides or resided on the 5th floor.

It is difficult to find cause to interfere having regard to the location of the premises on the fact that the Petitioners are connected with a running commercial hotel business.

The Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
