Contempt Petitions at Serial Nos.1, 2 and 3 above are listed. Files of Contempt Petitions at Serial Nos. 4, 5 and 6 have been summoned because they were not listed and are taken on record.

Common pleadings in the Contempt Petitions alleged violation of judicial orders passed in Writ Petitions filed by the Petitioners which required the State Government to pass final orders under Section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 pertaining to applications made by the Petitioners seeking sanction for sale of their occupancy rights in lands in favour of the non-tribal.

On 24th & 25th October, 2019 the decision has been taken by the Competent Authority granting the request made in the applications by the writ petitioners. The said order has been communicated to learned counsel for the Respondents under
4/4 cover of a letter dated 11th December, 2019. Copy of the said letter along with copy of the orders dated 24th & 25th October, 2019 have been handed over to learned Counsel for the contempt petitioners.

Since the judicial orders have been complied with, we terminate proceedings in the Contempt Petitions by discharging the notice of contempt.

Files of the Contempt Petitions be, therefore, consigned to the Record Room.
