IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION CRIMINAL APPLICATION NO.1624 OF 2018 IN CRIMINAL APPEAL NO.976 OF 2017 Satish Bhaguji Ambekar ...Applicant vs.
The State of Maharashtra
...Respondent
Mr.Abbas Mookhtiar for the Applicant.
Mrs. P. P. Shinde, APP for the Respondent/State. CORAM : B. P. DHARMADHIKARI & PRAKASH D. NAIK, JJ.
DATE : 22/03/2019.
P.C.:
.
The convict in prison is seeking temporary bail on medical ground. We have heard learned counsel (appointed) and learned APP. We have also perused the order dated 25/2/2019.
2.
The applicant has been operated at KEM hospital and is still admitted in that hospital. Learned APP has placed before us medical report dated 22/3/2019 issued by Chief Medical Officer. It is at Exhibit "A". 3.
As he has been operated for cancer, he is still an indoor patient. The contingency of seeking temporary bail therefore appears to have been taken care of.
4.
We therefore dispose of Criminal Application No.1624/2018. However we grant applicant liberty to approach again if any occasion therefore arises.
5.
Order be communicated to the applicant.
(PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.) (B. P. DHARMADHIKARI, J.)
