The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground as a 'peon' is pending since 2013 with the Education Offcer. The subsequent reminders were also issued, however, the same are not decided.

The learned AGP accepts notice for respondent Nos.1.2 and 3.

In case, the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as a 'peon' on compassionate ground (page 19) is pending with the Education Offcer, the Education Offcer shall take decision on the same in accordance with law and policy expeditiously preferably within six months from today.
