The prayer of the Petitioner in the present petition is for consideration of the proposal submitted by it for recognition to its Kendriya Ashram School and forwarding it to the Central Government for grant of aid.

It is not in dispute that originally, recognition was declined by order dated 18.02.2017, on the ground that there was no proposal for recognition to the Ashram School on the record of Seema 1/2

It is not in dispute that a proper proposal, seeking recognition, was thereafter submitted on 06.09.2018 by the Petitioner to the Social Justice Department of the State. That proposal seems to have been pending with the RespondentState. There has been no communication on the part of the Respondent-State in connection with the proposal. 3.

On these facts, the writ petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the concerned officer of the Respondent-State to take an appropriate decision on the Petitioner's proposal dated 06.09.2018 ('

Exh. N' to the present petition) as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within a period of six weeks from today. It is ordered accordingly. 4.
