1] By a reasoned Order dated 29.9.2017, the applicant was granted interim relief with a direction to attend the Investigating Officer on the stipulated dates and to join the process of investigation. 2] Perused the record and papers of investigation. The record indicates that the applicant has attended the Investigating Officer on the stipulated dates and has joined the process of investigation. It is to be noted here that the present crime is registered under the Section 354 and other related sections by the first informant immediately after the chargesheet is filed in earlier crime registered by her bearing No.403 of 2016 also under 1/2

aba.1752-2017.doc the Section 354 and other related sections. Prima facie it appears that the version narrated by the first informant is an exaggerated version. After perusing the record, this Court is of the view that the custodial interrogation of the applicant for further investigation of the present crime is not necessary.

3] In view thereof, the interim relief granted by an Order dated 29.9.2017 is confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer is hereby waived.
