The learned Counsel for the applicant at the outset seeks leave to carry out amendment in respect of para 8(a) so as to mention number of days of delay in filing the appeal. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

By this application, the applicant has sought to condone the delay of 111 days in filing the appeal against the judgment and award dated 4.1.2014 passed by the learned Member of MACT, Salgaonkar
10 caf 990-15.doc Thane in MACP No. 608 of 2008. Notice of the application was duly served on the respondent nos.1 and 2, despite which the respondent nos.1 and 2 have not remained present and have not contested the application.

In the light of the reasons stated in para 4 of the application, delay in filing the appeal is condoned, subject to cost of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) to be paid to the Juvenile Justice Fund within a period of two weeks. The appeal be registered subject to removal of office objections, if any.
