Heard. By filing this petition, the Petitioner is challenging two communications / orders received by him; one dated 14th September 2018 from the Assistant Police Commissioner, East Division, Bhiwandi and another one dated 15th September 2018 from the Senior Inspector of Police, Bhiwandi City Police Station. 2.

By the said communications / orders, the Petitioner's request for grant of permission to conduct a rally in Bhiwandi city on 28th September 2018, to protest against the alleged illegalities of Torrent Power Company Limited, has been turned down. 3.

We have gone through the impugned communications/ orders . The Petitioner has been refused permission to hold a rally on patilsr 1 / 2 by Sachin Ramchandra Patil Date: 2018.10.01 13:17:46 +0530 Sachin Ramchandra Patil

28th September 2018 on the ground that it is falling on Friday, which is sensitive day in terms of maintenance of law and order situation in Bhiwandi city.

It is pertinent to note that by the said communications, the Petitioner was asked to submit alternative day to conduct a rally, however, Petitioner has failed to respond to the same. We find that impugned communications / orders are issued taking into consideration the law and order situation in Bhiwandi city. 5.

In the light of above, we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned communications / orders. Writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
