This is an application under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C) for anticipatory bail.

The applicants are apprehending their arrest in Crime No.713 of 2021 registered at Hadapsar Police Station, Pune city for the ofences punishable under Sections 498-A and 306 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The applicants are mother-in-law and sister-in-law of the deceased. It is alleged that on account of demand of dowry the deceased was subjected to harassment. It is alleged that on 31 August 2021, the deceased fed up with the said harassment committed suicide by hanging herself.

By order dated 13 December, 2021, this Court granted interim anticipatory bail to the applicants.

I have perused the papers of investigation and more particularly suicide note left by the deceased. There are no allegations at all in the said suicide note against the present applicants.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, I am inclined to allow the present application for anticipatory bail. The interim anticipatory bail granted by this Court to the applicants by order dated 13 December 2021 is hereby confrmed.
