Petitioner has alleged contempt of the order dated 7th April 2022 passed by this Court directing Respondent No. 2- the Deputy Collector,(Rehabilitation) Kolhapur, to decide the application of the Petitioner for allotment of land.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the said order has not been complied with till date. Statement is accepted. 3.
Respondent No. 2 is accordingly directed to comply with the 1 /2
Yugandhara Patil 28-CP-11-2023.doc order dated 7th April 2022 passed in Writ Petition 3899 of 2022 within four weeks from today.

Order that would be passed by Respondent shall be communicated to the Petitioner within one week from the date of passing such order. It is made clear that no further extension of time would be granted.

In view of this order, we are not issuing any contempt notice against Respondent No. 2 at this stage. Contempt Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

It is made clear that if the orders passed by this Court today and on 7th April 2022, are not complied with, this Court will initiate action under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, against Respondent No. 2 on the next date.

Place the matter for reporting compliance on 21st February 2023.
