The application filed by the petitioner for compassionate appointment is kept pending on the ground that the order of the Civil Court does not specify as to who has to be given the benefit of compassionate appointment.

It is for the authority to take a decision about the person who would be entitled for compassionate appointment. 4.

In light of that, the respondent no.2 shall take decision upon the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment on its own merits in accordance with law and policy expeditiously, preferably within four months.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
