This appeal is preferred by the Insurance Company for challenging the award dated 24/04/2014 passed by the MACT, Pune in MACP No.314/2002 holding that the Respondentclaimants are entitled to sum of Rs. 6 lacs with interest 7% p.a. by way of compensation.

The learned counsel for the Appellant submits that the offending goods vehicle was used for carrying 32-35 passengers. Hence, the Insurance Company is not liable to pay compensation.
