1] This is an application by the accused person for extension of time to deposit an amount as mentioned in clause 4 of the order dated 5th October 2015. It is stated that by an order dated 5th October 2015, this court was pleased to direct the applicant to deposit his first instalment of Rs.7.50 lakhs int his court within two weeks from the date of his release from jail. The applicant could not deposit this amount within the stipulation time. He, therefore, moved the present application on 30th October 2015. On that day, this Court passed an order and granted extension of time to deposit

YBG appp887-15 the said amount. However, it appears that because of the typographical error, instead of mentioning the application number as Application No.887 of 2015 it was erroneously mentioned as Criminal Application No.679 of 2015 in B.A.508 of 2015 and, therefore, the Registry did not accept the first instalment for want of clarification. The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that as a matter of fact, his client is having the said amount and will deposit the same with the registry of Sessions Court immediately. 2] In view of the above, the period to deposit the amount with the registry of sessions court is hereby extended by one week from the date of receipt of this order. All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
