This is an application of suspension of sentence and grant of bail during pendency of Criminal Appeal No.1021 of 2021. Applicant has been convicted vide judgment and order dated 8th October, 2021 passed by Special Judge under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POSCO) for offences punishable under Section 12 of the POSCO Act and sentenced to undergo R.I. for one year. Applicant was on bail during the Trial. S.R.JOSHI

26-ia-3066-2021.doc Appeal has been admitted vide order dated 15th December, 2021 by this Court.

The sentence of imprisonment has been suspended till the next date of hearing subject to applicant furnishing P. R. bonds in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount. Considering the fact that the sentence of imprisonment is of one year and till the next date of hearing the sentence has been suspended by this Court, the interim bail granted by this Court by order dated 15th December, 2021 is confirmed.

The order dated 15th December, 2021 shall continue till hearing and final disposal of Criminal Appeal No.1021 of 2021. Interim Application stands disposed of.
