1] Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned AGP for the State.

2] This application has been preferred for restoration of writ petition (st.) no. 15485 of 2016 and for condonation of delay in preferring the present application.

3] The matter came before the Registrar (Judicial -I) on 9th January 2017, on which date order was passed that four weeks time is granted to remove office objections,

skc 917-CAW-12-18 failing which the writ petition shall stand dismissed. As the office objections were not removed within the stipulated time, the writ petition came to be dismissed. 4] In view of the averments made in the application and in the interest of justice, the delay in preferring the present application is condoned and the order dated 9th January 2017 is set aside and the writ petition is restored to file. Time is granted till 31st May 2018 to remove the office objections.

5] Application is allowed in above terms.
