1] Counsel for the applicants and respondent No.2 state that the applicants have paid the necessary charges and hence ofence of theft of electricity under Section 135 of Electricity Act, 2003 (for short "said Act") has been compounded under Sections 152 (2) and 152(3) thereof. 2] These developments are not in dispute. Respondent No.2 has in fact on 8th April 2019 received a letter from Assessing Ofcer of Licensee in this respect.

3] In this situation, we make Rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (b).
