Advocate Shri Mendadkar, appearing for the Petitioner submits that, by this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, Petitioner is seeking limited direction against Respondent No.2 to decide his application dated 26th July, 2013 for grant of Caste Validity Certificate as early as possible.

The learned AGP appearing on behalf of Respondents submits that, they will decide the said application within three months from today. Statement is accepted.

Hence, by consent, we pass the following order:- S.R.JOSHI

wp-10549-2019 (i) Respondent No.2 - Scheduled Tribe Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Pune Division is directed to decide the Petitioner' s application dated 26th July, 2013 for grant of Caste Validity Certificate as early as possible, but in any case on or before 17th October, 2020 on its merits and communicate the decision to the Petitioner in writing;

(ii) Petition disposed of accordingly;

(iii) No order as to costs.
