Mr. Patil, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, appears on behalf of the petitioner. He makes a statement that he will file vakalatnama within a period of two weeks from today. The statement is accepted.

Heard Mr.Patil, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Shinde, learned PP for the State.

By this petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to conduct his Narco Test. The petitioner is facing trial for offences punishable under Sections 302 and 377 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already preferred an application for similar relief before the Sessions Court at Kolhapur. Shubhada S Kadam 1/2

Sr.No. 904 WP 4233.14 However, the same is not decided and, therefore, the present petition is filed.

In the above circumstances, we are of the considered view that this petition can be disposed of by directing the learned Sessions Judge at Kolhapur to dispose of petitioner's application for conducting the Narco Test expeditiously, if not already decided. Ordered accordingly.
