The present applicant was arrested in Crime No.173 of 2016 by Govandi Police Station (later on numbered as C.R. No.81 of 2016 by Economic Offence Wing, Mumbai), for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 409 of Indian Penal Code.
It is the case of the prosecution that the applicant without any authorisation and keeping complainant's family in dark has claimed trade mark by practising fraud of such a firm from which he already stood retired.
Dusane 2/2 ba2159.2016 The parties hereto on December 16, 2016 have tendered the consent terms as they have amicably settled the matter.
Perused the settlement terms. The learned APP submits that copy of the settlement terms is received. The offence in question is already investigated into and the custodial interrogation of the applicant is over, in my opinion, above referred background, the applicant is entitled to be released on bail by furnishing P.R. bond of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.
The applicant to attend Investigating Officer as and when called.
The applicant not to tamper with the evidence and/ or influence the witnesses in any manner whatsoever. (N.W. SAMBRE, J.)
