Interim Application 9839 of 2022 is an interim application in Writ Petition No. 3520 of 2016 at the instance of the widow of the petitioner no. 2, seeking her substitution in place and stead of her late husband. The petitioner no. 2 has passed away on July 12, 2021. It is claimed that the applicant is the sole surviving heir of the petitioner no. 2.

We allow the prayers made in this application for substitution, upon setting aside abatement, with liberty to the learned advocate for the petitioners on record to incorporate the name of the applicant instead of the deceased petitioner no. 2 in the cause title of the writ petition within seven (7) days from date.

Interim Application No. 9839 of 2022 is allowed. No costs.

List the writ petition on July 15, 2022.
